BIRTHDAYS.....

So September has been such a busy month. My sister had her birthday and this week, two of my nephews had birthdays too!! With all the time i have on my hands i decided to make...not one, but TWO birthday cakes. I must admit it was really kind of fun, plus the boys love their cakes and that's always a plus huh?! Well, that kept me busy a couple of hours but it was definitely worth it. The finished product looked great.

On Friday i went for a job interview. It was a bit scary. First of all, the two partners of the company are the smartest enterpreneurs on earth so you can imagine how intense the interview was. I must have done something right because not only did i get the job but i got a better position than i interviewed for!!

After the interview, i tried to smile but i was way tired from stressing myself out so i sort of grinned on the way home. Am i excited to start on Tuesday?? You betcha! I'm going to love working full time and still making time for the three men in my life.. Darnell was worried that my job might mean an end to the cakes and cookies but i promised him i'll not slack in that department......i'm excited.
As for my love life... let's just say things are looking better than ever. That's it! end of story. ha ha ha!! I'll be sure to update everyone after my first week at work. Later.

Everything is big in Texas!

By now you probably know i graduated from college already. It was really fun, i had family from three states all come support me and it was amazing. I'm glad to be done with school after 4 years but i kinda miss the whole "college student phase".... maybe a little bit. I am in Texas right now and loving every second of the heat and fast life. I've been job hunting... which has been fun and i've also made some great friends and had the chance to get to know Austin a lot more.
I LOVE AUSTIN! It's simply one of the most wonderful places too live for sure, there's just so much to see and do. One of my favorite things, i decided, is to go downtown and just walk around. The people are so fun and friendly and there's never a dull moment. My social life has definitely improved.....and that's all i'm saying on the subject!

Last night, 5 other ladies and i dressed up and went downtown. It was another memorable night in Austin, i have a feeling there's more to come. So far everything has been great since i graduated. Will keep updating this as time goes.

As graduation draws closer ...

Finally started working on graduation invitations!!! Yay! In the midst of freaking out, i'm actually really excited. School is crazy, let's just say there are a lot of sleepless nights ahead... I am proud of the fact that i was able to finish A LOT of homework today so now i can lazy about for a day or two until it catches up with me.

It snowed today! (yeah in the middle of June) and it's freezing!! Not too excited about that bit of information but it should be hot this weekend : ) I'm excited because besides the fact that i work all day Friday and half day Saturday, i get to call home and speak to my family, especially my three year old nephew Nene. There is a chance he might come with mom to my graduation, along with aunt Stella nad uncle Edward.... aaargg! I have to work on hotel arrangements and travel plans.

Ok, gotta go now but before i do, let me introduce you to the men in my life : )

Only the begining....

Ok so i graduate from college on the 18th of July and i'm freaked out! You go through college and the whole time you're looking forward to the day you can finally be done and move into the real world, we always fail to ask one thing...."THEN WHAT?" What's the big plan? or even better, "How do you make it happen?" School's been really busy and working two jobs doesn't make it better but then again in 59 days it will all be over! I must admit, it is kinda fun, no school, no homework, no curfew, and all the free time in the world to "enjoy myself" right? True. Well, i've got to run to class now, got more memories to make before my college days are over...LOL
